If you were to go into a shop, you may be stopped and asked to leave the premises in concern of disrupting the other customers. If you refuse to leave when asked, that would be considered trespassing and lead other negative legal consequences.

It is important to be respectful of company rules and abide by them. Despite that, there are no limitations on dressing in armour in an open, public space.

A Statute forbidding Bearing of Armour (1313) states that ‘in all parliaments… every man shall come without all force and armour’.

Despite the legislation being centuries old, there have been no reforms nor changes meaning that the action of wearing armour within The House of Parliament is forbidden.

In conclusion, you are legally allowed to purchase and own a suit of armour and wear it in public. However, there are some instances where it may become illegal, such as wearing armour in the House of Parliament.

“It is legal to copy someone’s signature with permission with permission in the UK. However, it’s important to be upfront and transparent when seeking explicit permission otherwise you could be accused of fraud and face legal consequences” - S1 Forgery Act 1981

Under Section 1 Forgery Act 1981 “a person is guilty of forgery if they make a false instrument with the intention that he or another shall use it to induce somebody to accept it as genuine and by reason of so accepting it to do or not do some act to his own or another person’s prejudice”.

 Therefore, forging someone’s signature is a crime (generally considered fraud) and is punishable with both fines and imprisonment.

However, forging someone’s signature is different from copying it with their permission. It’s not illegal to copy someone’s signature with their permission.

Forging a signature implies you have no permission to use the signature.

The person consenting to their signature being copied must be fully aware what their signature will be used for and fully understands the implications of what their signing.

For example, if a person is giving permission for their signature to be used on a legal document, they should be fully aware of the contents of the document and the consequences of signing it.

This means that if you deceive them into signing it on false pretences or taking part in actions which may be perceived as fraudulent or illegal you may be found guilty of fraud and held criminally liable.

However, if you have full informed permission to copy their signature for something legitimate and lawful then it is legal.

So ensure you have fully informed and explicit permission to use the person’s signature.

Well, to make it easier to answer this question, The Government has established a variety of rules to follow when deciding to leave education.

Under previous legislation, it was compulsory for young people to remain in education until the age of 16.

However, because of new legislation (introduced in September 2013) the law now requires that young people continue in education, employment, or training until the age of 18.

If you are currently in England, you can legally leave school on the last Friday of June, only if you will be 16 by the end of the summer holidays. However, you will have to ensure to do one of the following until you turn 18:

• Carry on with your education, do a BTEC, A levels, IB – whichever you fancy really – at school, college, or at home
• Start an apprenticeship or traineeship
• Spend 20 hours or more a week working or volunteering, while in part-time education or training

If you are under 16 and not in any full-time education or undertaking an alternative from the list above, you would not be acting within the legislation rules.

Although it is deemed to be breaching the legislation, The Government is unlikely to punish young people for not wanting to pursue further education.

Similarly, they may not want to fine parents who are going to be supporting those young people financially.

Although it is against the law to quit education, there are generally no permanent legal consequences for breaking this rule. While this might seem great, it is very highly recommended that both parents and students to abide by this law.

 Choosing to stay in education instead of dropping out early can be helpful and hugely beneficial overall. A higher level of education can be crucial for many jobs that improve the economy. If young students leave education early on, it could have a negative impact on the economy and job market.

It is therefore most strongly recommended to stay in education even though calling quits may seem tempting.

 There are many advantages of staying in school with the outcome being incredibly rewarding. While school may feel draining, frivolous, and exam-focused to you, it plays a significant role in the personal growth of young individuals as students, and here you are able to acquire innumerable life skills and opportunities.

You have the right to refuse to cover your baby whilst feeding. You can challenge people who tell you to stop breastfeeding in public.
